Numagami Power Station

This is a hydroelectric Power Station built in 1899 that makes use of the difference of altitude between Lake Inawashiro and the Asaka Canal to generate power. This is the first long-distance high power transmission plant in Japan, which contributed to the development of the textile industries in Koriyama City.
